Cool Clubs For a Night Out in NYC
New York City is renowned for its nightlife, and it’s easy to see why. With world-famous DJs spinning the tunes and dazzling lighting to go along with it, the clubs in this city are truly unique and can’t be found anywhere else. But that doesn’t mean you have to travel to the other side of the country for a good time – the club scene in NYC is alive and well, and there are plenty of cool clubs for a night out right here.
Whether you’re into grungy, underground-type vibes or just want to dance all night long, there’s a club in NYC for you. One of my favorite places is the newest spot to open up on Scott Avenue in Greenpoint, a converted airplane hangar that feels just like you’re entering an alternate universe. It’s a pretty small space, but it has a super gritty feeling that’s perfect for dancing and partying all night long.

You can also check out the swanky spots on the Lower East Side, like the swanky Sapphire Lounge and the trendy PHD rooftop lounge, both of which feature a stunning view of downtown Manhattan. If you’re in the mood for something more laid-back, try Retroclubnyc, a party space that specializes in throwing back throwbacks. They play music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, plus throwback cocktails, bringing in fashionable locals to groove all night long.
Another way to pass the time while you’re bored is by working on a creative project, like learning origami. There are tons of online tutorials and it’s a fun and relaxing activity. Or, you can work on a personal project like starting a photo album or writing a poem.
